Our technology was initially developed for the audit industry at a related company. We now operate as a separate entity, focused on extending and enhancing the technology to address the IT community’s specific requirements. For over 20 years, hundreds of Fortune 1000 companies and public sector agencies have been relying on our software to access and analyze legacy data.
Grant Brodie, CA, President
Grant has over 30 years of development and management experience in the data access and analysis field. Grant's background is in computer audit technology, first with the Deloitte organization and then as founder of ACL Services Ltd, a leading audit software firm. Grant was the original software architect of ACL's market leading, flagship product, ACL for Windows. His passion for customer driven product development has enabled Arbutus to continue to provide proven and powerful data analysis capabilities to a broad range of professionals.
Connie Showell, VP Development
Connie has over 25 years experience in developing mainframe and other server based data analysis technology. She spent many years as the chief software architect for ACL's mainframe product. Since 2003,under Connie's leadership, Arbutus has continued to expand the capabilities and improve the performance of the mainframe technology that was inherited from ACL. Under her guidance, the other server offerings from Arbutus, especially with AS/400 and Windows, have become key components of the Arbutus product offering.
